My First Afghan!!!!!!!This is my very first afghan in the making!!!!

I have joined the Newbie Crochet Along CAL at Crochetville with this and am so inspired by what everyone else is doing I had to show where I am up to!!!

The photo didn't come out very well. The squares are suppose to be (left-down) light pink, red and red, (next column) dark green, dark green, verigated, (block) camel, yellow, maroon.

My finished afghan will have 24 squares so I am just about half way!!! I really wanted to get my photos up for crochetville today and when I got home last night I wanted to fish off my light pink one and my red but I couldn't find my hook anywhere until this morning before work so I only had time to finish the pink one off! Grrrrrrrrr!!!

Can't wait till it's done!!!!!

This is the first time I have posted onto my new blog!!! This blog will be in whole a place for me to show off my creations (I love to crochet) and if I create a pattern then this would be the place to post it aswell.

I am currently undertaking three projects. One is an ongoing project that I have been doing for just over a month now. It is a throw to go over mine and my boyfriend's bed. It will have four blocks joined to have two rows of black around each individual block and the border. Each of the four blocks consists of three different colours of wool crocheted into 9 simple granny squares and joined to form a square. This will be a while before I finish this off!

Another project that I am currently working on is a scarf for my little sister. The scarf is red and yellow and is in rows with a really nice pointing pattern that drags the red and yellow onto each other. (Need to have a photo for a better description.) This was a pattern that I got off the net. I get a lot of patterns from the net as it an extremely good source for getting FREE patterns!! You can get anything you want all you need to do is hunt for it!

The other project that I started just yesterday is a black and dark blue rug. The rug has 7 points and is retro style with the rows of colour going from 2 x 2 to 4x4 to 2x2 to a last row of 4. It is really nice and the points are starting to be really prominent now that I am on my 24th row. I am really looking froward to finishing this one. It is coming along very very nicely.

I will also be posting links to good websites that I know of for patterns etc.. and any useful hints that I get. Well I am going to cruise now. Be Back Soon!
